Without Your Love

Well there it was and now it's gone,
I thought our love would last,
I looked towards a future dream,
But that is in the past.

I wish I knew just what went wrong,
For we were so in love,
I gave you everything I had,
But you gave me the shove.

I really thought our days were good,
I thought that all was fine,
But you had eyes for someone else,
How could I be so blind?

I thought that he was just a friend,
But I was just a fool,
You said that you would marry him,
How could you be so cruel?

Well go ahead and make your bed,
If that is how you feel,
And I will live without your love,
And pray that I will heal.
