Without You

I spend my lonely days in search of love,
A search that always brings me to your door,
For you were once my angel from above,
The one that I once worshipped and adored.
Whatever was I thinking when I left?,
Without your love I really cannot live,
Now I am all alone and quite bereft,
I'll come home on my knees if you'll forgive.
I need your precious love to make me whole,
Without it I am only half a man,
I need you in my heart and in my soul,
Please take me back, forgive me if you can.
Then we will never, ever be apart,
And every day will be a brand new start.
