With Crimes Never-Ending

All throughout history,
Crimes are committed,
While some are imprisoned,
Some others acquitted.

The judges in courthouses,
Speak for the masses,
While reading the charges,
They often need glasses.

And time spent in prison,
Is often so lacking,
Now where is the justice,
When crime has the backing?

Our laws need correcting,
They need some enforcing,
For people's protection,
Our safety endorsing.

The government's sleeping,
The lawmakers hiding,
The criminals laughing,
While getting a chiding.

And into the future,
With crimes never ending,
Our leaders are making,
More laws they are bending.
