Visions In My Mind

My eyes no longer focus, nor can see,
And I have vision only in my mind,
Without my thoughts I never can be me,
And I would spend my days as one who's blind.
Without my thoughts I'd wander in the dark,
Or sit alone in empty solitude,
Without my thoughts I'd never see the spark,
Of those who look on life with attitude.
For sight is more than what my eyes can see,
It's what my mind and will may let me do,
You may agree or maybe disagree,
But what I feel is what I think is true.
I view the world through visions in my mind,
I may not see, but I am never blind.
