Unseen Things

Look far beyond what you can see,
And you will find the truth,
Outside the realm of where you are,
And there you'll find the proof.

For what you see as being truth,
Will often be a lie,
And if you trust in earthly things,
They'll leave you high and dry.

For earthly treasures rust and rot,
And one day, fade away,
As everything is for a time,
And finally just decay.

So look beyond both time and space,
And look down deep inside,
And as you choose what you believe,
Let conscience be your guide.

Then travel onward; don't look back,
And never look around,
And you will find that unseen things,
Are really quite profound.

"Store your treasures in heaven,
where moths and rust cannot destroy,
and thieves do not break in and steal." Matthew 6:20
