Through Eyes Of Love

Looking through the eyes of love,
I'll tell you what I see,
I see an angel standing there,
Who's looking back at me.

The sun is in her radiance,
The moon is in her eyes,
So when she stops to talk to me,
Imagine my surprise.

I'm feeling kind of dizzy, as
I try to say hello,
My mind is rushing frantically,
But words are coming slow.

I feel like such an idiot,
To stand there as I stare,
But words that I would like to speak,
Won't get me anywhere.

So, with a sigh and some relief,
I hear what's on her mind,
Directions to the airport, and
I tell her, "Highway nine".
