Those Lovely Girls

Both here and all around the world,
I love the ladies, love the girls,
I love to see them sway and dance,
The girls from Spain, the girls from France.

Tahitians dance to drummers' beat,
With swaying hips and shuffling feet,
Their skirts of grass around their hips,
And pretty smiles upon their lips.

The girls of Californ-I-A,
Dance on the beach, where oft' they play,
And run around in skimpy clothes,
And show much more than hands and toes.

The girls of Ipanema Beach,
They come to learn, and come to teach,
The ways to move their lips and eyes,
To pick up all those handsome guys.

But though I love so many girls,
With wavy hair, and some with curls,
The only one who's right for me,
Is Dovie Lynn; she sets me free.
