The Workers VS The Company

What happened to the good-old-days,
With workers worth their pay?
What corporations want to do,
Is take it all away.

They say downsizing is the thing,
And that is where it's at,
The truth of what they do, is that
The Big Boys get too fat.

We're working longer hours, and
We're getting paid much less,
And yet with all the cutting back,
Most firms are in a mess.

We need some solid management,
And one's who think of us,
Some people with compassion, and
Some people we can trust.

Instead we have a leadership,
Who think of just themselves,
Increasing their portfolios,
While we're put on the shelf.

Let's band together in our fight,
And do the best we can,
To take a stand for those who count,
The common working-man.
