The Rocks Cry Out

(based on Luke 19:40)
"I tell you that, if these should hold their peace,
the stones would immediately cry out." - Jesus

They watch the planets in the sky,
But of His workmanship deny,
And as they go about their day,
The rocks cry out to give Him praise.

They view the beauty of the land,
With mountain peak and desert sand,
And though it leaves them quite unfazed,
The rocks cry out to give Him praise.

They say it happened all by chance,
They never give a second glance,
And while their 'science' is displayed,
The rocks cry out to give Him praise.

There's evidence in what they see,
Design in nature's chemistry,
While they are trapped inside their maze,
The rocks cry out to give Him praise.

He speaks through everything He made,
But there are some He can't persuade,
And as they turn and walk away,
The rocks cry out to give Him praise.
