The Ice Blues

Ice-cream, popcicles and ice-cold drinks,
Chipped ice in snow-cones,
Yellow, blue and pink.

Ice ponds, ice-skates and ice-fishing too,
Pulling fish into my net,
I think I’m turning blue.

Ice on the highways and more in my lane,
I hit the car in front of me,
Now who is there to blame.

Ice-fog at airports and winter ice-storms,
I’m really tired of being cold,
If only I were warm!!!

Ice-crystals in the air and ice in the stream,
Can’t take too much more of this,
I think I’m going to scream.

Icicles from rooftops and ice on the ground,
As soon as I can find the cash,
To Florida I’m bound.
