The Diet

At first they say it's good for you,
And then they say it's not,
They say that we can lose the weight,
Although we eat a lot.

Whatever can a person do,
When trying to make decisions,
It's almost like we're flying blind,
Or waiting for a vision.

At first we're doing the thing that's right,
And then we're doing it wrong,
They say we'll lose the weight real quick,
Instead, it takes so long.

It's time we quit these diet fads,
And use our common sense,
The only thing these diets do,
Is make us very tense.

So I will eat just what I want,
And listen to my reason,
I'm never going to win awards,
It's only me I'm pleasin'.
