Tahiti Dreaming

A South Pacific paradise,
The Islands of Tahiti,
A place where you can fall in love,
A place so very pretty.

When I was young I visited,
And there I was awakened,
By visions of a wonderland,
And lovely island maidens.

The mountains are so rugged, with
Their jungles to the top,
The beaches are so plentiful,
They never seem to stop.

But it's those island maidens, that
Still linger in my mind,
They only wear Pareos, and
They really do look fine.

I saw one in the water, her
Pareo was so tight,
A pattern of red roses, on
A tapestry of white.

She climbed out of the water,
After taking a short swim,
A pattern of red roses, on
A tapestry of skin.

So if you long for romance,
And you're feeling rather needy,
The place you'll love to visit,
Are the Islands of Tahiti.
