Something's Missing

I try to hold your hand, but something's missing,
To hold you in my arms, but something's wrong,
I cannot seem to touch,
The one I love so much,
I try to hold your hand, but something's missing.

I try to kiss your lips, but I'm not able,
To run my fingers through your lovely hair,
Your beauty is so fine,
I wish that you were mine,
I try to kiss your lips, but I'm not able.

I look into your eyes, but cannot focus,
You're drifting in and out, just like a fog,
I wish that you could see,
Just what you mean to me,
I look into your eyes, but cannot focus.

I'll live my daily life with dreams about you,
Although I'll never know your perfect love,
I'll dream my life away,
For you will never stay,
I'll live my daily life with dreams about you.

When time on earth is done and I'm in Heaven,
In one thing I will always have regret,
Eternally I'll miss,
The one I want to kiss,
When time on earth is done and I'm in Heaven.
