Poems of Reflection

Poetry Of Passion

Where passion lives and passion grows,
A poem is in the making,
But even though I have these thoughts,
It's quite an undertaking.

I spread them out in front of me,
But what is it they're asking?,
I try to say what's in my heart,
What feelings am I masking?

The things I say can often hurt,
And leave the reader bleeding,
While others try to understand,
The message in the reading.

And sometimes as I write the words,
I know not what I'm saying,
Yet others read and understand,
The feelings I'm conveying.

As passion lives and passion grows,
I'll ever keep on writing,
To share my heart with those who read,
Is rather quite exciting.
