Not Bourgeoisie

Another day and I'm still here,
I think I'll have another beer,
For I'm not going anywhere,
The situation is unfair.

For others have the better jobs,
And from the poor they seem to rob,
While I just sit upon this couch,
And eat potato chips and slouch.

What's that you say?, Get off my ass?
I think I'll let that comment pass,
Those labour-jobs are not for me,
I am "executive", you see.

And I deserve the penthouse floor,
A secretary and much more,
And everyone to wait on me,
And give me all things I decree.

I shouldn't have to work for it,
I think my argument's legit,
For I am better than the rest,
In 'genius' I have been blessed.

But until others share my views,
I'll watch the 'tube' and drink my booze,
And wonder how it came to be,
That I'm a Serf, not Bourgeoisie.
