No Relatives Of Mine

I was raised in Africa,
And live up in a tree,
You may think I'm crazy, but
There's nothing wrong with me.

I have a loving family, and
Respect from all my kin,
I care for them immensely, and
I'm happy here within.

I see so many other ones,
Just coping with their lives,
While fighting in their neighbourhood,
And cheating on their wives.

But they are only human-beings,
Their kind is very old,
They say they are improving some,
Or so I have been told.

They say we've much in common, that
Their fathers came from me,
But I will not believe a word,
For it could never be.

And yet they live amongst our kind,
While causing such pollution,
And say that we are relatives,
By so-called evolution.

With that I have a problem, for
They're not at all like me,
For I am just a monkey here,
A-hangin' from a tree.
