Nobody Needs Me No More

I was once the Man Of The Hour,
The King Of The Hill,
The Tower Of Power,
One fateful day, the whole thing went sour,
Now nobody needs me no more.

I was once the Cream Of The Crop,
The Toast Of The Town,
The Man At The Top,
One fateful day, it came to a stop,
Now nobody needs me no more.

I was once The Top Of The Heap,
The Man With A Song,
The Perfect White Sheep,
One fateful day, I started to weep,
'Cause nobody needs me no more.

Now I'm just The Low Of The Low,
The Scum On The Pond,
The One Who Eats Crow,
One fateful day, I reaped what I sowed,
Now nobody needs me no more.
