My Next Attack

This poem upset me, even as I wrote it,
just to think that there are so many perverts out there,
just like the guy in this story.

Hey there, hey there, little girl,
Looking all alone,
Let me keep you company,
There's no need to roam.

Why don't you come over here,
What is that you say?
Let us get together now,
Hey, you wanna play?

I am not a threat to you,
I am really kind,
I will do what's best for you,
Say what's on your mind.

You think I'm a predator?
That is not the truth,
I am just a normal guy,
Though I have no proof.

Hey there now, don't call the cops,
I'll be on my way,
Though you won't be mine today,
There's another day.

Don't think you are rid of me,
I am coming back,
You are never far away,
From my next attack.
