In this
world in which we're living
Many take, but few are giving
Those in power, always scheming
Common man is only dreaming.
People
hungry, some are dying
And we hear them as they're crying
In disasters they are pleading
But we stand there, watch them bleeding.
Governments, with rules bending
Always breaking, never mending
Corporations, never willing
To give workers one more schilling.
Criminals
are out there killing
Which is scary, somewhat chilling
Yet the courts are never willing
To give sentence worth the billing.
In the
gap, there's no one filling,
Though we think they should be willing
While we sit around accusing
Those in power of abusing.
Let us
not think this amusing
It is time that we are choosing
Make this world a place worth living
Then we won't live with misgiving.
