Little Spider

Little spider on the wall,
The bestest spider of them all,
I wish that we could be good friends,
For I would like to make amends.

Little cousin Daddy-Long-Legs,
Was a mother and she laid eggs,
But she made me really giggle,
Pulled her legs and watched them wiggle.

Momma said that wasn't nice,
And I should take her good advice,
To leave the spiders all alone,
And for my sins I must atone.

So now I'm asking you to see,
I was a kid out on a spree,
I didn't mean to give you fright,
But I was such a little tyke.

Little spider in the basement,
Running free with no encasement,
I will leave you all alone,
And hope you really like my home.
