Little Gophers (Dodging Traffic)

Little gophers in a hole,
Living life like tiny trolls,
When you go out for a stroll,
Dodging traffic is your goal.

You are cute as you can be,
And you fill my heart with glee,
Running 'round and being free,
But from traffic you must flee.

Dodging right and dodging left,
In this game you're not so deft,
Cheating death is like a theft,
Of your life we are bereft.

When you die and go on high,
We will mourn and we will cry,
You did run and you did try,
Too bad you were not so spry.
