Just A Pup

She's just a useless little pup,
To love her so does not add up,
I'm wrapped around her doggy paw,
Like it is some new kind of law.

Yet all she does is eat and poop,
I had to buy a Poopy-Scoop,
So I can take her for a walk,
And pick up little things she drops.

And when she's home, she sleeps all day,
Or sometimes she will want to play,
And chase around a rubber ball,
I throw it up and down the hall.

And then at night I go to bed,
With little doggy by my head,
And dream of little "Poopy-Scoop",
Oh, Lord, just how low have I stooped?

My little doggy is the best,
Of that one thing I can attest,
For though she's such a useless pup,
I'll follow her, and scoop it up.
