It Is I Who Will Live With My Choice

It is I who must live with the things that I do,
And I who believes what is false or is true,
And I who decides what to leave or pursue,
It is I who will live with my choice.

It is I who accepts or denies what I read,
And I who decides to be captive or freed,
And I who commits to retreat or proceed,
It is I who will live with my choice.

It is I who must pay for decisions I make,
And I who will answer for ev'ry mistake,
And I who will suffer and I who will shake,
It is I who will live with my choice.

It is I for whom Christ came to suffer and die,
And I who will live with Him up in the sky,
And I who receives what my God will supply,
It is I who will live with my choice.
