Human Drama Poems

He tried to climb out of
the hole he was in,
And thought he was
holding an Ace.

His Full-House Is Prison

He lived his whole life always digging a hole,
From there he could never climb up,
He tried to do right, but he always did wrong,
For crime was the 'soup in his cup'.

He started quite young when he stole his first car,
It gave him a thrill and a rush,
He thought he was cool and could play his own game,
He drew a Full-House, not a Flush.

He tried to climb out of the hole he was in,
And thought he was holding an Ace,
But he was arrested for robbing a bank,
And now he is flat on his face.

His Full-House is prison, a 'hole-in-the-ground',
And that is the place he will stay,
Where he holds a Joker, which taunts him and laughs,
And torments his life everyday.
