He Sees From Afar

He sees from afar,
And He sees all our sin,
He knows when we lose,
And He knows when we win.

He’s ever so present,
He knows when we stray,
He grieves when we wander,
And wants us to stay.

He loves the unlovely,
The wise and the fool,
When we see a pebble,
Then He sees a jewel.

He knows our potential,
He wants what is best,
He’s wanting to help us,
So we pass the test.

In all that we hope for,
And all that we do,
He’s promised to be there,
And help us get through.

So give Him your sorrows,
And give Him your dreams,
And give Him your problems,
As big as they seem.

Then watch as He takes them,
And turns them around,
He'll shape them and mold them,
It’s all so profound.

And a thing of rare beauty,
Will form in our lives,
When we follow the Saviour,
And for God's will we strive.
