Gimme Good

“Let's gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme,
Gimme, gimme good,
I want all that you have for me,
Let's gimme as we should.”

It’s really such a silly rhyme,
I don’t know why I wrote it,
But every time I think of you,
It makes me want to quote it.

Let's gimme in the morning-time,
And gimme all night long,
Let's gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme,
Whether right or wrong.

I cannot get enough of you,
You’re always on my mind,
And when I come home tired and beat,
You help me to unwind.

We gimme right and gimme left,
And gimme all around,
Because our walls are paper thin,
We hardly make a sound.

But that has never stopped us yet,
We gimme night and day,
We gimme early, gimme late,
We gimme all the way.

And when we’re old and slowing down,
And gimmes come and go,
We’ll have a love that’s tested time,
And I’ll still love you so.
