Encounters Of The Sweetest Kind

Encounters of the sweetest kind,
She lays her head so close to mine,
And as I whisper in her ear,
To comfort, soothe and calm her fears,
I feel like I've been blessed.

The way this Angel looks at me,
As here I hold her on my knee,
And tells me in her silent way,
That she would always have me stay,
I feel like I've been blessed.

Matthea Davynn, little child,
So soft and tender, meek and mild,
A little touch of Heaven's charm,
I hold her gently in my arms,
And know that I've been blessed.
