Creation or Evolution?

What makes people postulate,
That evolution was the state,
When early man first made the scene,
With monkeys somewhere in between?

To think we swung upon a vine,
And were not made by One divine,
Is really such a mystery,
Away back in our history.

I think it's very logical,
And nothing so zoological,
That we were made by God's own breath,
And of His wisdom we were blessed.

I know the One who gave us life,
We came from Adam and his wife,
To live our lives in gratitude,
And yet God gave us latitude.

He said we can believe or not,
So in this quandry we are caught,
To trust His word and what He said,
Or all the other things we've read.

Believe in what you think is right,
For I'm not here to start a fight,
But I will trust in God above,
And know He made us with His love.
