Caught By Love

I'm tired and beat,
But I can't seem to sleep,
I am tossing and turning all night.
For my mind's in a whirl,
As I think of that girl,
Wearing pearls on a dress of pure white.

And her radiant charm,
Gives me cause for alarm,
For I think I am falling in love.
Just the look in her eyes,
There I am, hypnotized,
She's an angel from Heaven above.

So I put up a fight,
Quite aware of my plight,
For I said I would never be wed.
Wanted women for fun,
Not be married to one,
But to live as a bachelor instead.

Now she's walking my way,
With a sexy sashay,
And my heart starts to beat like a drum.
I am feeling all right,
With this wonderful sight,
But my cowardly feet start to run.

Now, what would you do,
If this happened to you,
After saying you'd never get caught?
Would you run for the door,
Or come begging for more,
Or just marry her, like it or not?
