By His Grace

I think about a time when I was young,
And often wish those days were with me still,
I look upon a future yet unsung,
And wonder how my life will be fulfilled.
Though some unknown future faces me,
To handle it alone I cannot do,
But God above is watching over me,
And by His grace I know I'll make it through.
Then when I reach my home in Heav'n above,
And see my precious Saviour face to face,
I'll understand His sacrifice of love,
And know that I am there by His dear grace.
Eternity I'll spend just praising Him,
The One who rescued me from all my sin.
