A paradigm is quite
sublime,
If you know how to work it,
Reality is not for me,
And I will often shirk it.
A paradigm, a set of
rules,
And that's the way you play it,
But that is not the way for me,
And you have heard me say it.
I play the game the way
I will,
And rules are just suggestions,
Yet after all is said and done,
I have so many questions.
"Was that the
best that I could do?
Or could I do much better?"
I cannot do what I am told,
For that's another fetter.
A paradigm is not for
me,
For I am always changing,
What's good today, is gone away,
With something new arranging.
A paradigm is quite
sublime,
If you know how to work it,
But I will find another way,
You work it; I will shirk it.
